- Rampart Investment Management Promotes Eric Granat To Vice President March 30, 2009
Rampart Investment Management, a leading asset management firm specializing in option strategies, announced today the promotion of Eric C. Granat to vice president according to Ronald M. Egalka, president and chief executive officer.
“Eric has emerged as a leader at Rampart, and we are confident he will continue to excel as portfolio manager and vice president,” said Egalka. “As our firm grows globally, Eric will play a key role in delivering options management strategies to our high net worth clients.”
Granat joined Rampart in 2005 as a trader and software engineer and was most recently an assistant portfolio manager. In his new role, Granat’s responsibilities include portfolio management for the firm’s high‐net worth clients, position monitoring and trade execution. He also serves as a day‐to‐day account liaison.
Prior to joining Rampart, Granat held a variety of positions at Sun Capital Advisors, Fidelity Investments and Tyco International. A resident of Boston, Granat received a Master of Business Administration from Babson College in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Salve Regina University in 1997.
