- Rampart Appoints Richard R. Davis, CFA as Senior Vice President of Sales and Consultant Relations September 28, 2009
Rampart Investment Management, a leading asset management firm specializing in option strategies, announced today the appointment of Richard R. Davis, CFA as senior vice president of sales and consultant relations, according to Ronald M. Egalka, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Davis brings more than 15 years of sales and research experience in the financial services industry to Rampart Investment Management. As the senior vice president of sales and consultant relations, Davis will spearhead the company’s business development program, focusing on institutional and high net worth investors. Additionally, Davis will focus on building and enhancing Rampart’s relationship with consultants and partners, and educating them on the benefits of Rampart’s options programs.
“The combination of Dick’s research and sales background, and his experience with institutional and high net worth investors, make him the ideal person to help lead Rampart’s continued growth,” said Egalka. “Beyond just understanding the science of our options investment strategies, Dick comprehends the benefits behind the products Rampart offers.”
Prior to joining Rampart Investment Management, Davis served as the head of consultant relations at Natixis in Boston, Mass. where he was responsible for creating and maintaining the company’s institutional consultant relations program. Davis has also held positions at Geode Capital Management, The Colony Group, David L. Babson & Co., and Standish, Ayer & Wood, all in Boston.
A Wellesley, Mass. resident, Davis received a Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Hamilton College.
