Rampart has developed a variety of strategies to meet the specific goals and objectives of institutional investors, including endowments, foundations, insurance companies, and public and pension funds.
For larger programs, we can generate income by monetizing volatility of equity positions by writing call options on the individual stocks in the program. Alternatively, for smaller equity programs, we can use index options to generate additional income from a plan’s equity allocation. We are experienced in writing domestic and international equity and index options, both listed and OTC.
Alternatively, for institutions more concerned with downside protection in an equity portfolio, Rampart may implement a put protection program or various collar strategies.
