Debbie L. Cancela
Debbie is Senior Vice President, Director of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer for Rampart Investment Management.

Debbie joined Rampart in 1997 and is responsible for updating, monitoring, and reporting on Rampart’s compliance program requirements. Debbie also oversees all operational and administrative activities at Rampart. She is a member of the Executive Committee, and a Board Member, and participates in the decision making process for all human resource, operational, and administrative activities of the firm.

Debbie began her career in financial services in 1980 at The Boston Company where she held the position of Operations Manager for the domestic equity and overlay strategies. In 1985, PanAgora Asset Management spun off from The Boston Company as a separate company, where Debbie added international and fixed income products to her management responsibilities. In 1994, Debbie returned to The Boston Company as an Assistant Vice President of equity and international operations, managing the daily and monthly functions of the domestic and international investment operations process.

Debbie received a Business Certificate from Burdett School in 1977 and completed 26 courses of a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing at Stonehill College.
